18 Wheeler Wreck Blocking Interstate 10

A major 18-wheeler wreck is blocking the westbound lanes of Interstate 10 between Schulenburg and Flatonia this afternoon, Tuesday, Aug. 7.

Officials say at least one of the trucks was carrying hazardous materials. Cleanup may take several hours. Motorists can avoid the area by taking US Highway 90.

Injuries are unknown at this time.
