Barborak

William Eugene Barborak, 71, of Moravia, passed away Sept. 24, 2018. He was born on Aug. 6, 1947 to William J. and Albina Novak Barborak. He was a member of Ascension of our Lord Catholic Church of Moravia. William is survived by two sisters, Anita Proske and husband Adolph of La Grange, and Georgia Pavliska and husband Jerome of Gonzales; and sister-in- law Bernice Barborak of Gonzales. William was preceded in death by; his parents, sister Irene Mary Barborak and brother Ben Barborak. Visitation will be held at 4 p.m., Thursday at Kubena Funeral Home; with Rosary starting at 6 p.m. Funeral Mass Service will be  held at 10 a.m., Friday Sept. 28, 2018, at Ascension of our Lord Catholic Church of Moravia. Officiant will be Msgr. John Peters. Memorials may be made to Ascension of our Lord Catholic Church or Donor’s choice. Burial: Ascension of our Lord Catholic Cemetery. Kubena Funeral Home in Hallettsville is in charge of arrangements.
