Eloyce Wilson

Funeral services for Eloyce Wilson, 64, of Giddings, are scheduled for 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018 at St. Mary’s Baptist Church in Ledbetter with Rev. Fred Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, Oct. 5, 2018 from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. and on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018 from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings. Eloyce Wilson was born into this world on Aug. 27, 1954 in Brenham, the oldest child born to Lewis Perry Wilson and Sedonia (Colvin) Wilson. She attended elementary and high school in Houston and then was a student at the Austin State School. Eloyce accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and attended church services with her family at St. Mary’s Baptist Church in Ledbetter. She enjoyed shopping, putting together jigsaw puzzles and watching television. Her favorite show was Leave it to Beaver. Eloyce was happiest when she was spending time with her family and friends. She was dearly loved by all who knew her. Eloyce died Sept. 27, 2018 at the Giddings Residence and Rehabilitation Center. Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice. Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings is in charge of arrangements.
