A visitation for Rachel Cook, 35, of Giddings, Texas was held on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings. A prayer service followed at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A private family graveside service was held in the Giddings City Cemetery. Rachel Lee Cook was born on February 7, 1983 in Brenham, Texas. She was the youngest daughter of William Lee Cook and Linda (Schulz) Cook. Rachel graduated from Giddings High School in 2002. Rachel passed away unexpectedly the afternoon of Friday, October 5, 2018 at her home in Giddings. She was preceded in death by her father, William “Bill” Cook and her grandparents, Alvin & Frances Schulz Sr., James & Rosa Wallace, Bobby Joe Hickman and Patsy Dunn. Rachel is survived by her mother, Linda Cook of Giddings; her sister, Michelle Cook of Giddings; her aunts and uncles, Alvin Schulz Jr. of Loebau, Sherry & Andy Rodriguez of Giddings, and Linda & Jim Dee of Austin, and four cousins, Kristen Rodriguez of San Marcos, Kimberly Rodriguez of San Marcos, Andrew Rodriguez of Giddings, and Sam Mitschke & his wife, Julia and their children, Max & Fionna of Austin.
