Cavities, Crowns and Getting Old

My love/hate relationship with the dentist has been going on for years. The people – I love; the procedures – not so much.

As a young person, I had multiple cavities that had to be filled. The procedure was never pleasant, but I suffered through it.

As an adult, I wanted to take good care of my teeth. Since I have a history of gum disease, I began going to the dental clinic for a cleaning more often and now I go every quarter. That seems to have helped most of my problems, however, I still have one that keeps popping up occasionally.
