LG Cosmetology Students Visit Care Inn Regularly To Pamper Residents

The La Grange High School cosmetology students make a trip to Care Inn every other Wednesday morning in order to help the ladies feel pampered and to visit. The girls give the residents manicures and paint their nails, as well as fix their hair.

‘Coco’ Bush, the cosmetology teacher, said that these visits have only been happening for around a year. They began when the residents were finally able to return to Care Inn after being evacuated because of Hurricane Harvey last August. Bush said that when the residents returned, their hair was long and untrimmed, as their cosmetic needs were overlooked and existing health concerns were made the top priority in the commotion during the moving back and forth.
