Earlier: The Fayette County Elections Office posted early voting figures which show 6,344 ballots cast before Election Day.
Early voters picked Ted Cruz over Beto O'Rouke by 78.62 percent of the vote in the Senate race. In the District 10 U.S. House race, incumbent republican Michael McCaul leads Democrat Mike Siegel with 79.29 percent of the vote. Republican Governor Greg Abbott leads Democrat opponent Lupe Valdez with over 80 percent in Fayette County.
Of local interest, early voters in the Pct. 2 Commission Race picked Republican Luke Sternadel over Democrat Abe Pace by 77.55 percent of the vote, 1,299 to 376.
