Edmund G. Walther, 92, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2018. Edmund was born Oct. 20, 1926 in Warda. Edmund was a Naval Veteran and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Houston. Edmund was preceded in death by his first wife Gladys Walther. He is survived by his wife, Helen Newman Walther; daughter Kathryn Poff; and son Charles Walther; brother Clinton Walther; grandchildren; Allison Roesler and her husband Gerrit, Chelsea Walther, Rachel Barton and her husband Drew, Richard Walther, David Walther and Elissa Walther and two great-grandchildren. A visitation for Edmund was held Friday, Nov. 9, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Heights Funeral Home at 1317 Heights Blvd, in Houston. A funeral service was held Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018 at 10 a.m., at the Heights Chapel.
