A Comeback Classic

With their football season on the line, the Bulldogs pulled off a comeback they’ll be talking about in Flatonia for a long time.

Down 28-14 midway through the fourth quarter, Flatonia rallied to tie the game after Juan Netro scored on a two-yard run with 9:03 left and then Da-Korey Willis scored on a sixyard touchdown run with 2:38 left.

With the game knotted at 28-28, the Bulldogs scored on a safety with 2:14 and held on to claim the victory 30-28 in a 2A bidistrict playoff game.

The victory advances the Bulldogs (6-5) into the area round of the playoffs where they will face undefeated Woodsboro (11-0) Friday at 6:30 p.m in Ganado with the area title on the line.
