Marklin Recognized For Peace Poster

Meadow Taylor-Marklin, a 6th grade student from Hermes Elementary in La Grange, has taken the fi rst step to become an internationally recognized artist by winning the local Peace Poster contest sponsored by the Bluebonnet Lions Club. Her poster is among 500,000 entries being submitted worldwide in the 31st annual Lions Club International contest emphasizing the importance of world peace to young people everywhere.
