LG Boys Win Consolation Title at Hoop Tournament

The La Grange boys basketball team improved its record to 5-2 by winning three of their four games at the Lexington tournament last week.

The Leps lost to Snook, but beat Schulenburg, Milano and then knocked off Rockdale 41-22 for the consolation title Saturday, led by a 20-point performance from Kayton Powell.

La Grange plays at the Schulenburg tournament starting Thursday.
