Billie Kay Polasek

Billie Kay Polasek, 84, of La Grange died Jan. 1, 2019 in Georgetown. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange. She was born on Nov. 19, 1934 in Eastland to Billy and Berta (Kimbrough) Jones. Billie Kay worked for Dr. Makinson and later as a bookkeeper for H-E-B and Walmart. She retired from Colorado Valley Telephone Co-op. Her most memorable time of employment was working for Jack Cernosek at Post Oak Inn. Her love of life was taking care of her animals and feeding deer and birds. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Bennie Polasek. She is survived by Godson, Brady Hallford and his children Kate and Logan, cousin Sharon Green and numerous friends including Carolyn and Mike Oevermann, Jessica and Jared Pharis and child Piper, Rhonda Muesse, and especially her beloved dog Ginny. Memorial donations may be made to Gardenia Janssen Animal Shelter; 240 Svoboda Lane; La Grange, Texas 78945. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange.
