Lamza

Funeral services for Billy Lamza, 86, were held on Friday, Dec. 28, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Queen of The Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hostyn, 936 FM 2436 in La Grange. Interment followed in the Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery in Hostyn. Full Military Honors was conducted at the graveside by the Schulenburg American Legion and VFW. Following the service, a reception was held at The Queen of The Holy Rosary Catholic Church Hall in Hostyn. Survivors include: wife- Evelyn Lamza of Houston; two daughters, Patty Elder and husband Dave of Spring and Linda Rowe and husband David of Houston; son, David Lamza and wife Polly of Houston; three sisters, Sydonia “Toni” Luco of Yoakum, Betty Jo Baca of Victoria and Eunice Vincent of Corpus Christi; brother, Cleo Lamza of Iola; nine grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents-Amalia and Joseph Lamza; one sister, Vangie O’Neal; and one brother, Leonard Lamza. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home in Schluenburg.
