Big Night in Carmine: Intra-County Battle & Homecoming

In a basketball battle between Fayette County district rivals Friday, each side left with something to smile about.

Led by 38 points from Amber Canik, the Fayetteville girls beat Round Top-Carmine 74-39.

But in the second half of the Homecoming night doubleheader in Carmine, the Cubs beat the Lions in the boys game 65-62 led by a 17-point night from Jason Sotebier.
