Sacred Heart Altar Society Meets, New Officers Installed

The Sacred Heart Altar Society members met on Monday, Jan. 7 in the Msgr. Harry Mazurkiewicz Parish Center. Prior to the start of the meeting, members enjoyed a pot luck social with appetizers, entrees, salads, and desserts all provided by members.

President Karen Janda called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. and led members in the opening prayer. Twenty members and one prospective member were in attendance.

Following the opening of the meeting by President Janda, copies of the minutes were made available by the secretary. The minutes were approved and the treasurer and assistant treasurer gave their reports.Members were informed that all outstanding dues had been collected and that dues of $5 for the 2019 year are now payable. Three thank you notes were read by the Assistant Secretary for remembrances received and a verbal thank you was given by a member.
