LG Girls & Boys Win Soccer District Openers

The La Grange girls soccer team went on the road Friday and defeated Navasota 4-1 in the district opener for both teams. The Lady Leps jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first half and never looked back.

Two goals were scored by Camila Martinez and one each by Carolina Soto and Jolie Gutierrez.

Estela Cabrera, Jolie Gutierrez and Angela Martinez each had assists and the defensive standout was Joana Rodriguez.
