Lehmann

Funeral services for Lynn Lehmann, 75, of Ledbetter, were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019 at Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings with Doug Tipps officiating. Burial followed in the Lehmann Family Cemetery in Ledbetter. Lynn Ray Lehmann was born on June 7, 1943 in Brenham, the son of Randolph Oswald Lehmann and Dorothy Mae Ora Lee (Sommer) Lehmann. He graduated from Giddings High School. Lynn married Judy Ann Henderson on April 17, 1967. After her death from cancer on January 14, 1994, Lynn met Janet Aubihl. They were married on Feb. 19, 2011 in Brenham. Lynn was a lifelong rancher who also had a passion for race horses. His life could be summed up in the words, rodeo, race horses and cattle. He was one who never sat idle and was happiest when he was taking care of his cattle. Lynn loved life and refused to ever look back. He was a generous and giving person, sometimes even to a fault. Lynn was the friend you wanted to have, the one who would drop everything he was doing to help others out. Lynn passed away suddenly the morning of Sunday, Jan. 27, 2019 at his home in Ledbetter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Randolph and Dorothy Lehmann; his wife, Judy Henderson Lehmann and his brother, Wayne Lehmann. Lynn is survived by his wife, Janet Lehmann of Ledbetter; three children, Robyn and Lane Jacob of Carmine, Heath Lehmann and Cammie Olah of Giddings and Lacey Aubihl and Travis Sachtleben of Ledbetter; eight grandchildren, Tanner andBrittany Jacob of Carmine, Taylor Jacob of Pilot Point, Tucker Jacob of Carmine, Lynndon Lehmann stationed in Okinawa, Alexis Lehmann of Farson, Wy., Preston Lehmann of Giddings, Aly Hunter of Giddings, and David Pitt of Kuna, Idaho; two great grandsons, Kannon andKyler Jacob of Carmine; one brother, Bobby and Kay Lehmann of Ledbetter; one sister-in-law, Julie Lehmann of Houston as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Serving as pallbearers were Tucker Jacob, Tanner Jacob, Preston Lehmann, Heath Lehmann, Travis Sachtleben, Lane Jacob, Pat Lehmann and Ben Aiken. Honorary pallbearers were Bobby Lehmann, James Keng, Alfred Hill, Bobby Hill, Jim Whitley, Sabian Walther, Lynndon Lehmann and David Pitt. Memorials may be made to the Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund, c/o Julie Jutten, 101 Pro Rodeo Drive, Colorado Springs, Colo. 80919 or to the charity of one’s choice. Funeral arrangements have by Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings.
