Fayette County Czech Heritage Society Meets

The Fayette County Chapter of Czech Heritage Society of Texas met on Sunday, January 27, at 2 p.m. at the Texas Czech Heritage & Cultural Center in La Grange, with 35 members and two guests in attendance.

President Betty Danner opened the meeting and led members in the Pledge to the Flag. Alfred Ermis, led the Czech Heritage Prayer in Czech and English. Guests and new members Glen Felder, Rosemary Graham and Bob Morgenroth were announced. Lorenda Polasek, Secretary read the minutes from the December meeting/Christmas Party which were approved as presented. Treasurer Alfred Ermis reported that we had 58 adult, 14 youth and 4 multi-chapter members that have paid their dues for 2019. Current bank balance is $2,969.61. Treasurer’s report was approved as presented.
