Lady Leps Go 4-2 in Brenham

The La Grange girls softball team went 4-2 at the Brenham Tournament last week to improve their overall record to 5-2 this season, as they prepare for their home tournament this weekend. In Brenham Thursday, the Lady Leps started the tourney with a 4-3 win over Pasadena Memorial as Abbey Weyand pitched a complete game and Becca Heinrich hit a double and Emma Fitzpatrick hit a triple.

Thursday afternoon La Grange lost to Dawson 5-3. Mikaylee Supak pitched a complete game for La Grange, and the Lady Leps managed seven hits, all singles, from seven different hitters.

In Friday’s first game La Grange lost to Clear Brook 3-2. Natalie Blackwell and Conner Menefee each had two hits.
