Flatonia Boys Fall In The Third Round

The Flatonia boys basketball team saw its season come to an end Tuesday in Taft with a 70-65 loss to San Perlita in the 2A regional quarterfinals.

The Bulldogs got 23 points from Kannin Mikulik and 22 more from Johnny Netro but it was not enough to overcome a San Perlita team that built a big early lead and just barely held on. Juan Netro added 12 points for Flatonia, whose team ends with a 24-11 overall record.
