Colose

Memorial services for Thomas Joseph Colose, 62 of Giddings, are scheduled for 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at St. Andrew Lutheran Church of Paint Creek in Paige with Rev. Lee Eschberger officiating.

Thomas Joseph Colose was born on May 16, 1956 in San Antonio to Joseph and Lou Dell (Shaw) Colose. Thomas worked as painter for many years before he had to go on disability. He enjoyed music, crafts, restoring furniture, animals, barbecuing, and spending time with his family and friends.

Thomas died Sunday, March 3, 2019 at St. David’s Medical Center in Austin.

He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Lou Dell Colose.

Thomas is survived by his significant other, Jennifer Burrow of Giddings and her children, Elayna Burrow of Giddings, Jacquelyn Burrow of Giddings, and Colten Burrow of Giddings; two sisters, Jozelle and her husband Charlie Elizalde of San Antonio, and Sandra and her husband Andrew Dixon of California, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A memorial fund has been set up at First National Bank of Giddings to assist the family with final expenses.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings.
