Vacek Distinguished Alumni at St. Rose

Edwin Vacek was named 2019 Distinguished Alumni for St. Rose of Lima Catholic School. Vacek was recognized along with all honorees in the Diocese of Victoria at the Distinguished Alumni Banquet on Monday, March 4, held in Victoria. His wife, Dolores attended and received the award for him presented by Bishop Cahill. On Wednesday after Ash Wednesday mass Father Tim Kosler presented the award to Vacek in front of the St. Rose School family and parishioners. Vacek has been a long time benefactor of St. Rose School, parish and community. His entire life he has been a great example of a faithful man, a patriot to his country, civic minded no matter where he lived and Catholic Education dear to his heart.
