Etzel Named Carmine Citizen of the Year

The Carmine Chamber of Commerce Mixer and Awards gathering was held March 1 at JW’s Steakhouse in Carmine. Along with the awards presented, musical entertainment was provided by Robbie Wooten and door prizes were given. Approximately 60 people were in attendance. Marlene Waak, president of the Chamber, was the emcee.

The Round Top-Carmine high school baseball team has a bye on March 19 and hosts Somerville on March 22 at 4 p.m.
