Locals Attend National Women’s Retreat

Several ladies from The Remnant Church in La Grange attended the 30th annual National Women’s Retreat at Country Camp in Columbus, on March 8-9. The theme of the weekend was “The Goodness of God,” and the ladies enjoyed hearing about trusting in God’s goodness in both the good times and the bad times as well.

On Friday evening, Michelle Segundo shared her personal story of God’s goodness throughout her life. She highlighted difficult times she had been through, such as her husband being deployed to Iraq as a marine, the loss of a child through miscarriage, and the difficulties of caring for teenagers through foster care. She shared how God helped her through these times, and how she decided in her heart to trust God no matter the outcome of these hard times.
