Holy Cross Warda Ladies Aid In Need of Donations

Once again this year, the Ladies Aid is asking for your donations of soap, bath towels and nail clippers. These items are made into personal care kits that are sent to Lutheran World Relief and distributed to people in need throughout the world. Last year, a total of 115 kits were distributed. The goal this year is to assemble 150 kits. Items needed are individually-wrapped bars of soap, lightweight bath-sized towels in dark colors and metal nail clippers. Note: toothbrushes and combs are not needed. Items may be placed in the basket in the hallway leading from the Narthex. Kits will be assembled at the April 8 meeting. Monetary donations are also accepted in order to pay for the LWR shipping fund. Make checks out to Holy Cross Ladies Aid and write ‘LWR Shipping Fund’ on note line.
