Texas Ramp Project Suddenly Homeless
Charitable Group in LG Needs New Storage Space
The La Grange chapter of the Texas Ramp Project desperately needs some new space, and they need it fast.
Bill Koenig, who heads up the nonprofit Ramp Project in La Grange, told the Record on Wednesday that the group has to move out of their storage space inside the old Haliburton building on Reynolds Street by April
15. Building owners Steve and Joy Cameron have been providing the space rent-free, but they recently put the building up for sale and it sold more quickly than anyone expected.
“I’ve been talking to everybody I can about finding a place, but we don’t have a lot of time,” Koenig said.
