Winchester Quilt Block Trail Introduced to Shiner Ladies

Margaret Atkins and Rhoda Gersch were invited to be the speakers at the Heritage Quilt Guild in Shiner this last week. Margaret discussed the Winchester Quilt Block Trail and the painting of a Quilt Block Board. Over 30 ladies were present, and 14 will be attending a Quilt Block class on the April 6. Another 12 are planning to participate in a class in June. Hopefully quilt blocks will be popping up all over the Shiner, Gonzales and Moulton area.

Neighbors Night Out

Wednesday, May 15 will be the first Neighbors Night Out of the 2019 season. Anyone wishing to participate in hosting a Neighbors Night Out at their home should give Rhoda a call at (512) 237-0842 or send an email to rmgersch@yahoo.com. Neighbors gather around 6:30 p.m. for a potluck and fellowship.
