Construction Continues on FM 609

The Muldoon area is under lots of road construction. West FM 2237 is currently being repaired and prepared for a seal coat later this summer. The current location of construction is nearing the FM 154 intersection. When everything is finished, it will be a wonderful road to drive on, but now there are delays in traffic flow, so plan accordingly.

There is still road construction on FM 609 south of the FM 2237 intersection. There is open base and lots of work going on, so traffic delays are expected. This in turn has caused an uptick in traffic on FM 154 through Muldoon. So, locals, please pay attention while out and about and watch out for those who normally do not travel through the area and are seeking to avoid the traffic hiccups coming out of Flatonia.
