Funeral services for TaShina Brown Porter, 38, of La Grange were held Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 1 p.m. at St. James Missionary Baptist Church in Plum. Rev. Austin Jones officiated. Burial followed in the La Grange City Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Senecea Porter of La Grange; three children, Jahze’ Woods, Jaren Woods and Jasha Woods of La Grange; one stepdaughter, Cemecea Porter; father, Ivory Brown of Columbus; one sister, Na Kisha Brown of Bryan; maternal grandmother, Katherine Benford Hutchinson of La Grange; maternal grandfather, Clarence McMillian of Weimar; and paternal grandmother, Odie. D. Townsend of Weimar.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Funeral arrangements have been enrusted to Tommy E. Taylor Funeral Home in La Grange.
