VFD Celebrates 28th Annual Feast & Fundraiser Sunday In Ellinger

The Ellinger Volunteer Firemen’s 28th Annual Feast and Fundraiser is scheduled for Sunday, April 28, at the Ellinger Community Center. A barbecue lunch will be served at 11 a.m., and meat to-go will be ready at 10 a.m. The drive-thru plates will be available at 11 a.m. also. Adult plates will be $10 and children under 12 will be $5. Additionally, there will be a live auction beginning at 1 p.m., silent auction, calk walk, bake sale and raffle. Refreshments and concessions will be served throughout the afternoon.

The Ellinger Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to an automobile accident on State Hwy 71 near Power Plant Rd.on Friday, April 19, at 7:11 p.m. The department’s first responders were dispatched to a residence on Zapalac Rd. on Saturday, April 20, at 12:34 p.m.
