Annie Veronica Janish, 90, of Fayetteville, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2019.

Annie was born in Fayetteville on Jan. 13, 1929 the daughter of Joe F. Janish and Mary (Canik) Janish.

She worked as a store clerk at the Fayetteville Store for a good portion of her adult life.

Annie is survived by three sisters: Mary Rainosek and husband, Frank, of Austin; Vlasta Korenek and husband, Lawrence, of Columbus; and Clara Gerik of Fayetteville; five brothers: Robert Janish and wife, Evelyn, of Bellville; Alois Janish of Fayetteville; Peter Janis of Fayetteville; Steve Janish of Columbus; and Joe Janish and wife, Diane, of Fayetteville; ten nieces; fifteen nephews and numerous great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Paul Janish; sister-in-law, Charlene Janish; brother-in-law, Frank Gerik; two nephews and one great niece.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29, 2019 from 12 to 7 p.m. at the Koenig-Belvill Knesek Chapel in Fayetteville. Family received friends from 4 to 7 p.m. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Fayetteville at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 30, 2019. Burial will follow at the Fayetteville Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, masses may be given in Annie’s remembrance or donations may be made to Hospice Brazos Valley, 1048 N. Jefferson St., La Grange, TX 78945.
