Power Outage in La Grange

Update: Power was restored in all areas shortly after 2 p.m.

Earlier: Power went out in parts of La Grange during the noon hour today, May 15. City Manager Shawn Raborn said some power customers could be without eletricity for two hours or more.

"We had an air switch fail and are working to isolate the outage at this time," Raborn told the Record shortly after 1 p.m. "Once isolated we anticipate it will take approximately two hours to repair."

He said crews were working to reroute power to make the outage area as small as possible.
