Goehring

Nola (Noak) Goehring, 99, of La Grange, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 24, 2019.

Nola was born in Round Top on Aug. 6, 1919, the daughter of Alfred and Frieda (Schlabach) Noak. She married Leroy Goehring on Sept. 29, 1940 in Round Top.

She worked at Jake’s Eggs and Franklin Nursery where she cared for and sold plants and flowers. In addition, Nola spent her time helping her husband, Leroy tend to the farm.

Nola was a lifelong member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Round Top.

She is survived by her daughters: Delores Neutzler, and husband, Branch of Austin; and Shirley Neumann, and husband, Earl of Round Top; grandchildren: Kellie Ray and Jack Burch of Buda; Brad Neutzler, and wife, Jennifer of Dripping Springs; Stephanie Harris, and husband, Matt of Salado; Scott Neumann and Matt McGann of Pinehurst; and Shaun Neumann of Arlington, Mass.; seven great grandchildren; and her sister-in-law, Vernell Noak of La Grange.

Nola was preceded in death by her parents, husband, of fiftynine years, Leroy; sister, Neva Noak; and brothers: Nelson Noak, Sr. and Nolan Noak.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2019, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Koenig-Belvill Funeral Home & Cremations. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Round Top at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29, 2019. Burial will be held following the funeral service at Richter Cemetery in Round Top.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 412 S. White St., Round Top, TX 78954, and to Hospice Brazos Valley, 1048 N. Jefferson St., La Grange, TX 78945.
