Trey Supak One Out Away From Throwing Minor League No-Hitter

Former La Grange High School baseball star Trey Supak came within one out of throwing a no-hitter Thursday night as his team, the Biloxi Shuckers, beat the Tennessee Smokies 3-0 in Double-A minor league baseball action.

Supak, the Milwaukee Brewers No. #11 prospect hurled 8.2 innings, a new career high, and allowed just one hit while not walking a batter and striking out four.

Supak started his night by retiring the first nine batters in a row, including three of his four strikeouts. He induced 12 groundouts and 10 flyouts during his start

Sitting at 105 pitches, Supak came out to pitch the ninth. The 22-year-old forced a flyout to left field and a groundout to second bringing him one out away from a no-hitter.
