NVCC Members Hear About CASA Program

Article Image Alt Text

Navidad Valley Community Connections (NVCC) recently celebrated the June birthdays of Milton Christ and Mildred Hravochy. Also celebrated was the Hafers 70th wedding anniversary.

Jaceyln Perez, the forensic interviewer from Children’s Advocacy Center of Bastrop, presented the Lunch and Learn program recently. She gave an informative presentation on the services CASA provides in Fayette and surrounding Counties. They provide assistance to children with traumatic experiences and set up the medical and mental care they will need to overcome their situation. CASA is in need of blankets and new stuffed animals to give to their clients. Every child who enters the program gets a new blanket and new stuffed animal to take with them. If you wish to donate new blankets or stuffed animals or make a monetary donation please drop them off at the Navidad Valley Community Connections Center.
