Klingsporn
It is with great sadness that the family of Bobbie Louise Klingsporn announces her passing on Tuesday, July 9, 2019. At the age of 97, the Lord took her home, peacefully, while she slept. Family was of upmost importance to Bobbie, she always put them first. Up to her final day she was more concerned about her family than for herself. She was a devoted Christian and an inspiration to all that knew her. She never had an unkind word for anyone or anything.
Bobbie was born in Garrison, Texas to parents Charles Floyd and Alma (Cryer) Smith on May 12, 1922. She met Freidrich Robert Klingsporn, fell in love and they began their story. They married Nov. 11, 1945, and were married for 47 years. Their marriage was blessed with three daughters, Mary May, Judy Roosevelt and Cathy Dean. Bobbie was a champion for her family, guiding and supporting them all while never wavering in her faith. She truly was a beacon of light to all. Bobbie was who we all strive to be. They moved to La Grange to retire and here she soon developed her church family. She loved gardening and was determined to make her yard look like a State Park. Easter was her favorite holiday and every April, her family would surround her in love while we admired the bluebonnets and her infamous yard.
Bobbie will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Judy Roosevelt and Cathy Dean. She leaves behind 7 adoring grand-children, Paul May, Melissa Hummelke, Christi Wilcox, Ryan Cotie, Nathaniel Roosevelt, Eric Dean and Ethan Dean. Bobbie will also be fondly remembered by her 12 great grand-children, Emma, Ally, Jacob, Beckett, Deacon, Kearstyn, Kaedance, Kainan, Koleton, Camryn, Tyler, and Chloe. This is just a few of the many who will deeply miss her.
Bobbie was preceded in death by, Angel Dean (Grandson), Fred Klingsporn (Spouse), W.G. Smith (Brother), James Smith (Brother), Mary May (Daughter), Doug May (Son-In-Law), Juanita and Billy Williams (Sister and Brother-In-Law). Her family and friends that have passed are rejoicing in heaven to welcome her.
