Laddie “Blue” Supak, 86, passed away on July 18, 2019 in La Grange. He was born to Frank and Rosie (Jetelina) Supak on Nov. 17, 1932 in Ellinger. He married Judita “Judy” Drab on May 24, 1977.

Laddie worked as a heavy machine operator for Pioneer Sand and Gravel Company for many years before retiring. He truly enjoyed listening to and dancing to polka and waltz music. His hobbies included hunting birds and squirrels with his grandson. He was a devoted son and brother, taking care of his mom and younger brother, Ludwig, for many years until they passed. He was very dedicated to his Catholic faith and church.

Laddie was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Albina Kollaja and Lucy Supak; brothers, Jerome Supak, Arnold Supak, Pete Supak, John Supak and Ludwig Supak; and granddaughter Whitney Blair.

Laddie is survived by his wife of 42 years, Judy Supak of Columbus; children, Judy Carol Beck of La Grange, T.J. Beck, Jr. and wife Jane of La Grange, Randall Beck of Fayetteville, and Mike Beck of Pensacola, Fla.; grandchildren, Patrick Blair and wife Tammy, Martha Blair, Randy Beck and wife Dana, Brenda George and husband Mike, Sybil Wright and husband Robert, Bobby Beck and wife Trisha, Karl Goehring and wife April, Elsa Rooks and husband Larry, Toby Leal, Patricia Dukich and husband Tony, Bradley Beck and Christopher Beck and wife Michelle; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service were held on Monday, July 22, 2019 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Ellinger with Father Nock Russell officiating. Burial followed at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation was held on Sunday, July 21, 2019 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Henneke Funeral Home in Columbus. A rosary was held at 7 p.m., led by Deacon Robert Jasek.

Serving as pallbearers were grandsons Patrick Blair, Randy Beck, Bobby Beck and Karl Goehring, great-grandson Leonardo Leal and nephew Gilbert Drab, Jr.
