Quilt Block Classes Slated Aug. 17 and Sept. 14

Quilt block classes have been set for Aug. 17 and September 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, September 29, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Zilss Hall in Winchester. Registration is available now and is $35 per class. All supplies to paint a 2x2 quilt block board will be supplied. Registration can be mailed to Zilss Hall at 8945 FM 153 Winchester, Texas. Barn Board Quilt Trail

Quilt Trail maps are available. You can find them on the patio of Zilss Hall, Murphy’s and The Depot in Winchester. They are also available at the Quilt Museum, the Wendish Museum, quilt stores and other business in Giddings, Smithville and La Grange. The trail is self-drive and available at your convenience. You will find the blocks on fences, gates, barns and houses that can be seen from the road. Take some time have a leisurely lunch in Winchester and drive the trail of Quilt Block Art.
