Truesdale

Frankie Mae Truesdale, 87, of La Grange died Monday, Aug. 5, 2019 at M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston.

She was born April 6, 1932 to Frank Kimble and Ella (Gates) Kimble in La Grange. She was employed as a Dietitian at Fayette Memorial Hospital and St. Mark’s Medical Center in La Grange. She married Elbert Truesdale who died on March 15, 1992.

She is survived by her sisters, Ella Lockett and husband Lorenzo of Houston and Elsie Head and husband Joe of Houston; sister-in-law, Rita Kimble of Houston; niece, Gloria Jean Sandling of La Grange; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services will be held at First United Methodist Church in La Grange at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17, 2018 with the Rev. Austin Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the La Grange City Cemetery.
