Limbaugh Enjoying his Return to Schulenburg

Schulenburg ISD hired a new superintendent, Duane Limbaugh, but he is no stranger to the district.

Limbaugh previously served as Schulenburg High School principal for almost two years from 2012 to 2014. He comes to Schulenburg after stints as superintendent at two other schools, Frost ISD from 2014 to 2017 and Brady ISD from March 2017 to this year.

“I would still be the superintendent in Brady if this job hadn’t opened up,” Limbaugh said. “This is the only job I applied for. This is the place I wanted to be and where I wanted to bring my family to.”
