La Grange and Schulenburg Notch Impressive Volleyball Wins Friday

The La Grange volleyball team went on the road Friday and scored a big win at stateranked Goliad, beating the Tigerettes (ranked No. 8 in Class 3A) in five sets after dropping the first two sets.

The Lady Leps lost the first two 19-25, 20-25 but then won the final three 25-17, 25-20, 15-9.

Becca Heinrich led in kills with 22 and Lanie Doyle added 12. Aly Trlicek had 33 assists and Megan Brothers has 48 digs.
