NVCC Holds First Book Club Meeting at Blinn-Schulenburg

Navidad Valley Community Connections was closed on Labor Day so volunteers and staff could celebrate with family and loved ones. There was however a rousing game of bingo on Wednesday sponsored by Fayette Savings Bank and called by none other than Mike “Bubba O” Olle with help from Jennifer Moring, Assistant V.P. of the Weimar branch. There were lots of laughs and many winners. Of course the favorite game is “Shiner.” All the bingo prizes were donated by Fayette Savings Bank. They will sponsor and call bingo the first Wednesday of each month.

NVCC appreciates Bob Stanzel who made a ramp for those who have difficulty getting over the high threshold at the hall, so it’s now wheelchair accessible, too.
