Wottlin’s Visit Texas Reptile Zoo

Maria, Clint and Bruce Wottlin recently went to check out the Texas Reptile Zoo. It was the best reptile zoo they have been to, according to Bruce. It was a few miles east of Bastrop. The Zoo only had one Texas reptile: Ruddy the rattlesnake, who comes when he’s called. Ruddy has his own YouTube video that has almost 2,000,000 views. The other reptiles are from all over the world. Boas, pythons, several different kinds of cobras, several different kinds of monitor lizards, huge geckos, various turtles and a Nile crocodile are among the many reptiles the Wottlins got to view. Afterwards, they went to “Fisherman’s Park,” a Bastrop City park on the bank of the Colorado, for a picnic lunch and fun at the river. It was a fun end-of-summer outing.
