Corrections from previous obituary: Eugene Floyd Winkler is survived by his brother, Eric Lee Winkler and his wife, Kathy of Brenham.

He was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-inlaw, Martin and Olga Moerbe, of Giddings.
