City Council Approves Budget, But Not Without Blowback

In what has become the norm, it was another fiery city council meeting in La Grange Monday with one citizen complaining about how the city spends money and another saying the council members should vote to give themselves a raise.

But first things first:

The council approved the first readings of two ordinances setting a new tax rate and next year’s budget at a meeting on Monday, Sept. 9.
