Edwin Henry Cook, 19, of Fayetteville, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2019.

Edwin was born in San Antonio on May 5, 2000, the son of Jeffrey Cook of La Grange and the late Marie (Janacek) Cook.

Edwin had a passion for trucks, a love for animals, he especially loved dogs, and his favorite dog was Kelso, whom he adored. Edwin could fix anything; electronics, cellphones, computers, household appliances, and vehicles. He loved listening to country music, he also enjoyed watching King of the Hill and Family Guy.

He is survived by his father, Jeffrey Cook of La Grange; grandmother, Bernetta Cook of Ellinger; grandmother, Dorothy Janacek of La Grange; four uncles: Jonathan Cook of Angelton; Tim Janacek and his wife, Beckie of Houston; David Janacek and his wife, Jackie of Houston; Kennie Janacek and his wife, Mary Jo of Houston; aunt, Gerardette Martin and her husband, Patrick of Pearland; numerous cousins; and one special friend, Aleksandra Boyd.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marie (Janacek) Cook; grandfathers: John Henry Cook and Edward Janacek.

Visitation will be held starting at 9 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Grange, Texas, on Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2019. A rosary to follow at 10:30 a.m. A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m.
