Muldoon Residents Mourn Death of Gene Forsyth

Forsyth Passes

It is sad news that one of Muldoon’s oldest residents, Gene Forsyth, passed away Sunday night at home. Gene was 97 years old. A memorial service is being planned at this time.

Out And About

The Chlumsky house was busy last weekend. Their granddaughter, Olivia Williams and her mom, Summer Smith, came out on Friday night. Olivia got to spend most of Saturday enjoying being out in the country before she and Grandma Kathy returned to Austin to prepare for Olivia’s big run in the CASA Superhero Run. Olivia crushed the Kids K and saved room for high fives all around at the end. She raised $360 and was a Kids’ Council Member. This was Olivia’s first official run, but it is sure not to be the last. Olivia’s mom and dad, Summer Smith and Ben Williams, both are very athletic and have competed in Iron Man races and other marathons. Summer ran and placed 1st in her age group with a time of 22:12 and Ben ran the 5K with a time of 19:36; he is training for an upcoming marathon in Washington, D.C.
