Constitution Week Assembly Hosted by the Smith-McMillan Chapter, NSDAR

Constitution Week 2019 was kicked off at La Grange Middle School with a Constitution Day Assembly on Tuesday, September 17th sponsored by the Smith-McMillan Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. The presentation of colors was provided by Boy Scout Troop 204 with Eagle Scout, Cole Stork as Sergeant-at-Arms and Flag Bearers, Matthew Vecera and Daniel Perales presenting. Constitution Week Chairperson, Sherry Hebert, introduced Fayette County Judge, the honorable Joe Weber who signed a Proclamation that September 17, 2019 is recognized and celebrated on the local, state and national level of government as Constitution Day followed by a brief reflection on its significance to our personal liberties.
