Just a Thought

I’ve always considered myself a summer girl. After all, growing up there was summer break from school, which I continued for over 20 years as a teacher. I love going swimming, walking on the beach and watching baseball, so it seemed that summer was my favorite season.

This week, however, with the slightly cooler temperatures we’ve had, has made me rethink that whole situation.

I read somewhere that in Texas, instead of the four seasons – winter, spring, summer and fall, we get about 12 – winter, fool’s spring, actual spring, spring of deception, second winter, actual spring part 2, summer, still summer, false fall, summer the sequel, actual fall, and summer part 3.
