Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrests

Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek reports that on Sunday morning, Oct. 6 at around 2:30 a.m., Deputy Adam Mack conducted a traffic stop on a 1997 Oldsmobile on State Hwy. 71 eastbound at the Hwy. 77 exit ramp for a traffic violation.

Deputy Ryan Meagher assisted on scene with the occupants in the vehicle. After contact with the driver and a frisk of the driver was conducted, the driver acknowledged having marijuana in his pocket. Also located on the driver was a clear baggie containing a crystal substance consistent with meth.
